artist. So here is her letter and photo. She wrote the same letter to several other men. She
justs wants your money. DS.

know how much is it far from Moscow, but I think, it is about 1200 km. There are
approximately 400,000 inhabitants in my city. I'm very cheerful person. I want to
find a man of my life with whom I would spend the rest of my life. I do not want to
make a mistake in my choice and I wish to know as much as it is possible
about my future friend. My schedule is very severe. I live with the mum now. She is a
very good person. I've said to my mother today that a person from USA had
answered me. She was pleasantly surprised. But she does not trust in the
success of Internet relations between couples. My mother is very far from all this
things. I cannot make promises that the future may bind us, but I wish to help
you to study more about me. I seldom travelled far, and never was in other
country. But I dream to visit on places of ancient civilizations. I have never been
married. I do not have children. As you probably already had noted I'm 27 years
and my birthday will be absolutely soon in November 29, and it will be
28 and I would like to find a companion of my life. I was bad to perceive the
computer but I learn now. I work as a junior book-keeper. On weekends and holidays I work as
a tutor of mathematics for children from secondary schools.Basically there are
children from 7 to16 years. However there are summer vacations now and
I work only in the office. I miss my pupils very much. I have university education in
economy. My favorite food is Pelmeni. Pelmeni is a simple Russian dish, which
is made of paste and meat. It is very tasty. I know many receipts of good meal. I
like roses among the flowers. Usually I go to our office to write you letters. There
is an Internet connection Sometimes I may go to an Internet Cafe. But I cannot
allow myself use of Internet Cafe very often. Here it is still expensive for
us. I like to listen to music in the free time. I listen different
compositions depending on mood. I have never been married and I want to create good
family. Probably we will become good friends or even more, if we are very successful. Probably as
it is the same with you my private life is too limited by the absence of free time.
Even my weekends sometimes are filled with the work. Sometimes also I'm
asked to displace other bookkeepers, so that I had no a lot of time for my own
pleasure this year. I'm not complaining. I believe that the time will award me
and I feel that I shall have a greater control of my private life thereafter.
I hope to find the second half of my life and to share with him love and everything. I was not
successful enough before to find one for me. I wish to find a self-confident and
kind man. I know that it will be a hard work, but I will move to this purpose. I shall

just realised that she is a scammer. Lost my money.
I wish to puruse this girl. Is there any way I can determine her true
address in Ukraine. Kurutkina MUST be her surname as it appears in the
passport OTHERWISE Western Union would not hand out the money. So there
must be a govt agency that keeps records of peoples addresses. All I need is her true
address. How can I get this?

away with her use of the English language. Here it is:

I am 19 years old, I was born April 27th, 1982. At a present time I'm a student. I have one more year to go and then I will receive a diploma of a commersant of exterior trade. Not actually very creative occupation, but this is the best I can get for now, and I do think that education is very important. I really don't know yet what I would like to do in life. I know I should by now, but there are so many things I'm interested in, and there are so few chances to find a job which is paid, not even speaking of well-paid, but paid at all. So it would be basically a waste of money: to pay for education and then sell something in a street market like almost half of the adult population does. It's not that I'm overpragmatic or obsessed with money. I'm just old enough to understand that whether we want it or not, we become realists.. People are too pragmatic nowdays. I can't really blame them but sometimes I even get disappointed. No one appreciates each other, no one is interested in personality. People look at you, they judge you by your appearance, by your income, by how many VIPs you know. That's disgusting, moreover, it's really sad. In my country public opinion is still a very strong power. Of course it's not what it used to be a few decades ago, but still people are brought up and taught to constantly look back in whatever they do and consider what others might say or think. As for me, I can't say that I'm that independant not to care. There is just a narrow circle of people whose opinion matters to me, whose advices I take from time to time, and the rest - no way! It's my life and my decisions. If you want to win my heart, be decisive, inventive and humorous. My poor heart would have no chances if you are also intelligent. I thought to myself that there had to be something going on. I sent her an email from a different email address. Yes, it's true! She replied to my other email address with EXACTLY the same letter. Although I was suspicious, I decided to play along. I sent her another letter asking her if she was writing to anyone else. She said no. That was interesting too, as by now I was writing to her from three different email addresses. The letters were all exactly the same with the only difference being the opening statement. By the fourth letter the request for money came along.
I feel very uncomfortable going to write you this, and if you decide to never write to me again, I will understand, I promise. You see, when I came to the Agency of translating and sending letters attracted by the number of happy meetings and even marriages that it has arranged, I didn't realize that it would be so expensive. The thing is that I can't afford it, and if you don't help to pay for our correspondence, we won't be able to stay in touch. I am really sorry that it should have come to this, but it's the problem of the kind, that I can't take care of it myself. Please, don't be mad, and reply no matter what your decision is. I remembered seeing something about the Diana Agency, and when I saw the email address: agency@diana.lg.ua I pretty much knew the scam was on!
There was even a medical emergency that popped up, with a hint that the medical bills would be too much to pay:
I was busy with my studies and also every day I have a headache. At first I thought that it was usual headache but in some days I understood that it may be very serious so I decided to go to the hospital and I was right it was inner cranium pression. So I have to be cured. Tomorrow I will be in the hospital but I will sleep at home, so I can write to you from time to time. You know I'm afraid to go there but I understand that I shold do this in order to be healthy. But the medicaments are so expensive and I don't know if my family have money for my health and for food and for other social services. Well tomorrow I'll learn about that. Thank you for listening to me. This is the important reason for people to understand and to support each other. I will tell you everything about it when I recover because I can't stop thinking about my illness, it may be very serious as doctors says. But I hope I'll recover very soon.
All the other email addresses got a similar letter from the agency, each after the fourth correspondence.

Natalia who found me on the Cupid USA website. She is listed as Oksana with
profile number 238659. She just asked me for plane ticket and visa money to be
wired to her via Western Union after only a few short weeks. She claims to live
with her mother, has no phone at her home and cannot be reached where she
works. Thanks to you and the black list, I saw this one coming. Her letters
appeared to be much like a form letter, so I would guess that I'm not the only one
she is in contact with at this time. Hope this helps anyone out there.

The she asked for money to pay her ticket and visa from a travel agency :
400$. I answered back that I would pay the agency directly with my credit card and not
send money to her. I have already been scammed by a russian girl. She was
disappointed but gave me some agnecies adresses to purchase her ticket.

Then I started looking for an agency which could take care of ticket and
visa in Moscow or St Petersburg. I finally found one and had all the information for her
trip. She had to travel in Moscow and deal with the agency which agreed to be
paid directly by me. Apparently everything was going right. Then I got the
following mail

Again asking money. So I decided to ask Pulko travel in Paris If I could
purchase a ticket in Paris and have it delivered to her in Murmansk. That was
possible. So I told her about it and asked her to make up her mind about the date she
wanted to leave. I have not heard of her nor read from her since in spite of several mails I
sent her. Obviously, she was expecting to draw money from me and since Idid
not give in, whatever argument she put forward, she dropped out. Her name and
