your help on this site! I had decided early on that I would
be happy to correspond with her so long as there were no requests
for money. When the last letter finally arrived this morning, I knew
something was up. Michael Scamming may
not be a crime, but stealing money is. I am going to nail these
guys, if its the last thing I do. Thank you for fighting the
good fight. We should all stand together to rid the world
of this scum. I would like to thank the creators of this site and especially one contributor to the site, namely Shane, who wrote a profile on a Miheeva, Marina aka Margo. You have saved me a lot of money and a lot of grief. The thing to remember about dating site scammers, and this one in particular, is that even though they may correspond with you for weeks - they are essentially lazy. They may respond to the general gist of your e-mails but generally do not respond to specific details, such as questions, comments or photos. They also have a tendency to re-use a lot of the same material that has worked for them in the past. Terence I did some more digging and found this website which made my decision a no brainer. I replied back to her with an article that I found about scammers being arrested in Russia. I haven't heard back from her since. She's good...almost got me to go "all in"... Thank you to this website and whoever started it! Frank Anjella first contacted me through Match.com. We have been emailing for about 5 weeks now. She made no mention of money until last week. Thanks to you I was wary and di not send any money. She asked for help with tickets after the visa cost her more than expected. I found her IP address and did a google search and found your site with almost identical emails. Copy and paste with some personal questions answered at the top. Thanks for saving me some grief. First letter requesting money dated 15/5/2013 Yesterday I was talking to my older sister Tanya about my upcoming trip to you and she told me that I should contact her classmate, who is a manager in the travel agency in city Nizhny Novgorod. Today I took a bus to city NN. Tanya phoned her classmate Elena in advance and she said she would try to find me a cheap travel packages, making a special discount, a minimum of 10 per cent in the tour price. Unfortunately the larger the discount she could not provide any way because it is not dependent on her specifically, she is not a director. When I came to city NN and got to the tourist agency, Elena was already waiting for me and I duly consulted on the matter. I was there probably almost 2 hours studying the routes and alternatives. I should buy a travel pass which costs 1910 usd. Stay includes all the necessary documents: double-entry tourist visa, international passport, medical insurance, airline tickets "back and forth" from airport Sheremetevo in Moscow, living in a hotel room. Validity of the visa is two to three months. The period of stay in SA is 40 days. The term of the visa is 5 working days. The consular fee is 1800 rubles. As soon as I will make the payment - my travel voucher will be ready in 4 weeks and then I will fly by plane to Johannesburg, SA. I will stay in SA with you for 2 weeks. But if necessary if plans change I can officially prolong the stay in your country, it will depend on your personal desires. As soon as I get my travel voucher ready to my hand - I will give you all my details: the date and time of my arrival, flight number, name of the hotel, so you can meet me at Johannesburg OR Tambo International Airport or to come to my hotel in city Johannesburg. I did my calculation of financial income and realized that I cannot accumulate more than 200 usd. My monthly income is 260 usd and I spend the entire amount to pay my utility bills. Thanks for writing to me. Today the manager of tourist bureau informed me bad news... He has told to me that they have received the information from embassy about they cannot give me the tourist visa for the reason that I am not able to prove my financial security. Proceeding from that that I gave them my inquiry on my incomes they came to a conclusion that a level of my salary is too low and consequently they cannot give to me the tourist visa formally. And it means that I cannot leave border of Russia and arrive to you to South Africa while I shall not give to them the proof of my financial security: proof of sufficient financial means: the original bank statement, bank card account. It means that I am obliged to have cash 1000 usd for my forthcoming travel to South Africa that I could provide my life (habitation, meal, safety) in the another's country for 2 week while I am outside of Russia. The manager of a bureau has told to me that it is an obligatory rule of embassy and I should find urgently 1000 usd, differently I cannot receive my documents and I cannot arrive to you on July 9. Do you understand? The manager of a bureau has explained to me that this rule has arisen because of that to prevent illegal actions of foreign citizens that tourists did not start to plunder, steal, kill residents for the sake of achievement of financial assets for maintenance of a life in the another's country.
