Hello, my name if Mauricio, and
I am writing to you from Sacramento, California: I very much
appreciate all your advice in your website, but unfortunately for
me, it came too late. I was scammed out of a very substantial amount
of money, about a month and half ago, by a blond Russian woman named
Anna Minyukova. I noticed that she is listed under Elena Elyanova in
you blacklist. However, she now is using the name of Anna Minyukova.
I am attaching copies of four Western Union wire transfers, two
sample emails that she sent me, a copy of a complaint letter I sent
the Ministry of Home Affairs of the Russian Federation, and some of
her pictures that she sent me. I hope you guys can warn other people
about! her, as I think she is probably already preying on other
unsuspecting men by now. I requested Western Union to trace the
first and last wire transfers to find out where she picked up the
money. If this information can be useful to you, I will gladly give
it to you when I get it. Please let me know if I can be of any help
in the investigation. I already removed my Yahoo personal profile to
prevent other scammers from contacting me. Thank you for your

I want to lounge a complaint against a Russian citizen named Anna
Minyukova. The address that was given to me by this person is:
Lenina Street 21, Arkhangelsk, 163015, Russian Federation; email
address used: anyutochcka@yandex.ru; phone number: +37 602 222 0000.
This person Anna Minyukova fraudulently received from me five
thousand thirty five ($5,035.00) US dollars, and I ask you to
prosecute her for fraud according to the law of the Russian
Federation and recover the money I sent to this person. The details
of my story are as follow:
On October 6, 2005, I was contacted via email on my Yahoo
personal profile, by a woman named Anna Minyukova. She indicated to
be a Christian Russian Orthodox woman, single, with no kids, and l!
ooking for a serious relationship. Soon thereafter, we started an
online email relationship, exchanged pictures and some information
about each other. She sent me 13 pictures of herself and I sent her
some pictures of myself. I did give her my home address and phone
number, but no other personal information, and she gave me her home
address. She did call me once, at 3:10A.M., we talked briefly for
about four or five minutes. As the relationship progressed, she
indicated that she wanted to come to the U.S. to meet me, and I
expressed a similar desire and invited her to come to the U.S., but
she indicated that she was poor and ha! d no money for all the
required traveling expenses and immigration fees. She asked me if I
could help her with all the expenses. I was reluctant at first, but
all her conniving love letters and pictures, convinced me about what
a wonderful woman she was, and so I agreed. On October 24, 2005, I
sent her $480.00, so she could travel from Arkhangelsk to Moscow, to
file for a nonimmigrant tourist visa at the U.S. Embassy. She
indicated that the U.S. Embassy had required her to have a
round-trip airfare from Russia to the U.S., the airfare tickets
would cost $2,010.00, on Delta Air! line, money which I sent to her.
On November 1, 2005, Anna indicated that the U.S. Embassy has
requested her to have a pre-paid credit card, in the amount
$2,500.00. She said it was to demonstrate that she was a financially
secured citizen. So, at that point I almost didn't send the money, I
had my suspicion that it may be a scam. But she reassured me that
she was very serious about coming to the U.S., and convinced me at
that point, that we should not turn back, that she was already in
Moscow, just waiting for her visa, ready to fly to the U.S. And
since I had already begun to spend money on her! , I felt compelled
to send the money for the credit card so she could fly to the U.S.
On November 5, 2005, Anna contacted me back telling me that the visa
was taking longer than expected and said she was running out of
money for food. I only sent her $45.00 on that day, and that the
last time I sent her money. Two weeks later she said that she would
have to go back to Arkhangelsk, because the visa was taking too long
to be issued. One week supposedly, after arriving at Arkhangelsk,
she indicated that her mother was having problems with her heart,
and that she would require a heart surgery, and that! even though
the expenses for the surgery would be covered, the medicine was not,
and that they did not have any money for medicine. She asked me for
more money to help her for her mom's medicines. I told her I did not
have any more money, and that I had already spent a great deal of
money on her. Up until that point, she had emailed me almost daily,
but then she stopped emailing me after I refused to send her any
more money. She didn't email me for about a week. On December 15,
2005, she emailed me indicating that her mom was feeling better, and
that she would be flying soon to the U.S. That is the last time I
heard from her. I am very sad, traumatized, depressed and
embarrassed that this happened to me. I still can’t believe I fell
for this. Anna Minyukova defrauded me of above-mentioned money, by
deceiving and misleading me into thinking that she was a genuine
person of good moral character, and that she was actually coming to
the United States. This has been a very expensive lesson for me, and
I wished I had done some research before sending her any money. On
December 17, 2005, I discovered that Anna Minyukova has done the
same to other people. I found her name and home address to be on two
scammer blacklists, at www.womenrussia.com/blacklist.htm; and
www.roses.ru, and under other aliases: Elena Elyanova, elencka@pochta.ws
and Olga Ushakova, olckk@mail.ru
I therefore request to prosecute Anna Minyukova for fraud
according to the law of the Russian Federation and recover the money
that I sent to this person. I consider the financial damage made to
me as substantial. I also file for emotional, or moral, damage. I
confirm the legitimacy of the documents that are attached with this
letter. I am ready to assist with the investigation in any way they
need me to assist. I am lounging this application as an official
statement and request to prosecute the criminal or criminal group
hiding behind this fraud operation.
Included with this application are:
1. Four sample email letters that I received from Anna Minyucova. I
have more email letters if you need them.
2. Four copies of Western Union receipt(s) for the total amount of
($5,035.00) U.S. dollars.
3. Copy of my California Driver’s License to confirm my identity in

I am a single white, Canadian male, 50 yrs old. I am self employed.
I have known of Elena's dating service and her advice on Russian
romance scammers for over a year, so I am informed about dating
scams and not to send money to individuals that I haven't met. From
the free articles on Elena's site I know how difficult it is for a
Russian woman to get a Russian visa and passport to leave Russia. I
don't know the typical length of time the process is in Russia for
successfully obtaining these documents, but it must be more than 11
days. It takes 2 weeks for me as a Canadian citizen to obtain a
Canadian passport. It would take at least 1 month for a Russian
woman to obtain a Canadian Temporary Resident Visa just to visit
Canada. I know that Elena says, any Russian woman contacting a
foreign man first on a general dating site, especially when that man
has not specified that he is looking for a foriegn wife, is 99%
certain to be a scammer. I think that the odds may be a little
higher. In the past I have received 4 unsolicited emails from
"Russian Women" on Yahoo Personals. I replied to these emails just
to see what these fishing letters looked like, but the "Russian
Women" never followed through. On November 13, 2005 I received an
email on American Singles from "Irina". I decided to reply and below
is the corrrespondence "we" had. What struck me was that "her"
emails didn't seem to be sent on a regular schedule and that "she"
seemed to answer my questions to her in the body of "her" emails.
When she sent me a personalized photo, I thought she must be real
and that I had bucked the odds. She had to be real. We traded postal
mailing addresses. I emailed Elena on the best way to send a gift to
Suzdal, Russia and Elena warned me of the likelyhood of Irina being
a scammer. It was only after buying Elena's Anti-Scam guide and
reading that it was very easy for scammers to provide personalized
photos that I thought I may be wrong. On Friday December 9 Irina
told me she would go to Moscow that weekend (?) to obtain an
American K1 Fiancee visa. She had forgotten that I was Canadian!!!
On Sunday December 11 (Suzdal is 130 miles NE of Moscow, “Irina”
doesn’t have a car) she informed me that she was back in Suzdal and
was successful, that she would receive her visa and passport on
December 20, 9 days later!!! She told me she needed $500 USD and
hoped for my help. She then explicitly asked me to send her the
money. It was then that she said I must send it to her mother,
Lyudmila!!! I believe that her real name must be Lyudmila Alafuzova
living in Vladimir. I then told her she was a scammer and no money
would be sent. It is interesting that in her reply she cries that I
have slandered her yet she wishes me good luck. Perhaps she doesn't
think the scam is completely dead. I received a total of 19 emails
and 17 photos from Lyudmila (Irina). It appears to me that except
for the personalized photo, all the rest were done in 3 photo
shoots.

convince you of their legitamacy.

Well that's it, I did fall for
the woman I thought was writing to me, but armed with information on
what and what was not possible for an honest Russian woman only my

in the city of Ust’-Kut. It is Irkutsk area. The population of our
city about 60000 inhabitants. Near to our city there is lake Baikal.
I think, you heard about this lake. It the biggest fresh lake in the
world. Now very coldly in our city. I am 28 years. I interesting
than you are engaged, what hobbies at you, what favorite kind of
sports. I like to play volleyball, I like to run in the mornings.
Sometimes go in competitions on running. Have you pets? I had cat,

father when I was small. And sisters have are not present brothers.

work, look after there patients, to put injections. Every day you

champagne. And what your favorite drink? I very much love mum and I
like to help her on the house. As I work as the nurse have not
enough time remains on rest. But when there come the days off, I am
torn off completely. I love flowers, is especial tulips, but most of
all I like, when to me them give. I like to go shopping, buy stylish
clothes, basically fitting because I watch the figure and it I have
sexual. I like to eat sweet, basically a cake or a pie. I want to
learn about your country on more, where do you live. All life
beautiful places in the world dreamed to go round all globe, in fact
so much. In the childhood when I played volleyball, I dreamed to act
with team in the different countries, but our school has broken up.
But I still dream to see many beautiful places in world. This

Then I have learned cost of tickets aboard the plane:
The ticket from Ust '-Kut up to Moscow costs 456 $
The ticket from Moscow up to Mexico costs 649 $
Total sum which I shall require is 1625 USD. To my big regret I have
no such sum. For us it is very big sum. I do not know that to me to
do. I very much want that we were together, because we with you
ideal pair. Very much it is not convenient for me to ask you about
the help but ?????? to me please with funds. You have surprised me
the question on that that your friend too searches for the Russian
woman. I shall necessarily ask the girlfriends. It will be good if

Such feelings between people become not only from nothing and from
lots of thought, analyses of relations, understanding and mutual
help. With every day I am becoming surer in my choise and in you.
And I sure those if I do some mistake you will understand me and
forgive me and I can say it about myself too. Looking for our
relations I understood that only destiny of my heart is to meet you
in person. And I believe in mutual feelings. I was at cash of
airport department today asking about cost of the tickets. I dont
think that tickets can cost so much! I dont sure in choice of date,
but I asked about cheapest tickets that exists. Its costs about 790
US dollars. So, here is information about ticket:

Unfortunately for that moment its really big money for me. As you
know, I saved up some money, its about 100 dollars for the ticket
and all money for the visa. So I need about 690 dollars more. Its
really hard for me to find now such money by myself, it will take
about half of year more. I thought a lot about how I can get such
money to make us be together. The best idea was to sell a madallion,
but when I come to pawn shop, a man there said me that maximum price
is about 220 dollars, that he can give me for it. He advise me not
to sell this medallion, because it costs more money that he can give
me. He asked why I need to sell it and I told him about you and
about my visit. He was surprised, and said, that I have to take this
medallion with me and in America this medallion can cost more then
2000 dollars depending a place of selling. And he advised me to ask
money from you. I dont know now where I can get such money. Will you
help me with it? Its really unpleasant for me to ask you help, but I
its seems I have to do it for both of us. I will take a medallion
and will present it to you so you can do what you want with it. I
dont know a lots about how to send money but if you are interested I
will ask it from my aunt, she sent money few times for my
grandmother from another countries. What do you think about a date
of our meeting? Which is the best? The easiest for me is to take
vacation at the next month. Please write me your opinion. I am

am sure that meeting in person will be better then thouthands of
